About us
Us
Before telling you more about our blog, let's start by introducing ourselves.
Our group is made up of four people, Claire 20 years old, Antoine 21 years old, Yiting 24 years old and Yukiko 44 years old.
We all come from different places, Antoine comes from Normandy, Claire from the Pyrenees and Yukiko lives in Montpellier.

We also have different study paths, Claire studies modern literature, Antoine studies philosophy, and Yiting and Yukiko are both studying language science.
Obviously, we have some hobbies in common, we all enjoy a lot listening to music or to travel. It is especially this thing that bring us together : traveling means much more than just visiting different countries. It can also be defined as enjoying discovering new cultures and having a real interest in customs all around the world.
Our Blog
We decide to create a blog about Korean food and more precisely a blog that allows people to discover various recipes, Korean culinary traditions and all the particularities of this food.
When we had to choose a blog theme and a group, we were all looking for a subject that could really excite us and being fun to work on. None of us are real experts but we want to pool our enthusiasm for the subject and through creating a blog learn more about Korean food.
Our aim is to create a blog we would enjoyed to read if we came across it by chance.
When it comes to Korean cuisine, most people think of only fermented foods such as kimchi and Doenjang. In fact, this is a huge misunderstanding. As far as kimchi is concerned, in Korea, there are more than 30 kinds of kimchi that are often eaten according to different regions and seasons, and the ingredients are also ever-changing. So in our blog, we will explore the rich dishes of everyday cooking as well as distinctive festive and traditional foods, so that we will get to know more about Korean food culture. Besides, in general, I think it's not complex to cook daily Korean food because we only need simple ingredients and it's very delicious. So we will introduce some recipes too!
